DIY Paper Organizer Revamp – Easy and Affordable

This DIY Paper Organizer Revamp is a super easy and affordable way of jazzing up a dull paper organizer into one that is beautiful and adds a nice detail to your room décor.thumbnail1All you’ll need to make this is:

  • a paper organizer
  • gift bag
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • glue gun
  • ribbon

I bought this paper organizer for $1 at the dollar store.  The gift bag I already had, I had kept it after a friend had used it for a gift of mine, and I just fell in love with the design.  If you don’t have a gift bag laying around at home, then you can also pick one up at the dollar store for $1.  So far, you have spent $2 on this, and who doesn’t love a dollar store hack!

The reason using a gift bag for this really works, is because the thickness of the material of the bag allows it to glue nicely onto the organizer’s surface.  I also really like the idea of taking something and using it for something completely different.  A little creativity can go a long way.

This was such a simple DIY and I really enjoyed the look it added to the room. Not to mention, every time I look at it I’m also reminded of a lovely and thoughtful gift from a friend. 🙂
